WFIL Jingles

WFIL used some of the greatest jingles ever produced by PAMS Productions, Dallas, Texas. Some were syndicated, while others, such as" The Philadelphia Story " were custom packages. Pams jingles were used exclusively, until 1974. Due to the demise of PAMS, WFIL, went looking for a new sound. They purchased 2 packages from The William B. Tanner Co, as well as a package from  TM Century Productions. These were used throughout 1974 and 1975,along with a new PAMS package, called "Philly Flo."

A jingle is just as important to the sound of a station, as is the music they play. WFIL was able to combine great music, an exceptionally talented air staff, a tight format, and great jingles to become the radio leader in the Delaware Valley.

All jingles used here, are copyright  PAMS Productions, Dallas, Texas, used by permission.
